This is not captive hunting operation. These are not tame nor genetically engineered animals. We do not use fences. We do NOT charge for trophy kills. Just real hunting as it was meant to be. Wild, free ranging game are plentiful such as whitetail deer, black bear, bobcat, coyote, fox, etc. Numerous bait stations and food plots with winter wheat, clover, turnips, abundance of acorns, etc. provide excellent feeding and grazing opportunities for game. Both ground and tower blinds provided. Experienced hunting outfitters and guides provided with no additional fee. Whether bow or cross bow, this is the hunting place for you.

We specialize in black bear, coyote, bobcat, and white tail deer hunts. We have customized our white tail deer hunts for father/son, father/daughter, beginner, and novice. Our goal is to provide each hunter with a shot opportunity. Since we only book one group at a time, you are guaranteed an exclusive hunt in a safe environment. The Perfect Place for the Perfect Bear Hunt
Starting about a month before the season opens, we activate our network of cameras & bait stations to determine the patterns, population, & distribution of black bears through our private land. Clients are provided date & time stamped photos of bears at bait stations thereby, demonstrating the presents of bears, the potential target of the hunt, & its respective behavior pattern. These photos are an important and unique service provided by Prairie Farm Homestead. Most other outfitters do not or will not provide these photos.
White Tail Deer
Jewel and her father, Marcus, had a great time hunting during Youth Modern Gun season on Nov 3 & 4. Deer were very active and plentiful. Jewel, 12 years old, had her choice of a button buck, 9 point buck, 6 point buck, and 9 doe. Jewel took a nice fat doe.
